| Just wanted to say Hi, and tell a little bit about myself...
I have been involved in photography since I was 13 and spent all my paper route money on a Canon AE-1 Program... I think my parents had a 110 instamatic and thought I was crazy. Shortly there after I realized that if i got a job in a photo lab, maybe I could cut back on my film processing costs... and so it began. I got a job at a local lab, ended up at a different lab, and then somewhere along the line was having so much fun I bought it.
Somehow that led to an interest in computers/technology/software, and that is where ePhotoPros came in - it is a combination of my two passions (other than surfing) - Photography and web technology. While ePhotoPros has only been an actual website for a short time, the concept has been in the works for quite a while.
In addition to the Lab I own, I also owned a Photography company called Event Photography Services which specialized in selling pictures back to the participants at amateur sporting events... both through the mail and online. We covered mostly mountain biking and motocross, but also a few other sports here and there.
That's my story, and I'm sticking to it! Ron

| Hello all!
My story's not all that exiting (I'm still just a young buck at 30 yrs of age!), however, here goes:
I got my associates in Art at good-ol-Grossmont Community, with an area of emphasis in drawing and painting. Yep, I used to know how to do both of those! Of course Photography was a required course for my fine art major. I had then planned on moving to Santa Fe to go to college out there and major in fine art. But they wound up changing programs on me, which turned out to be a good thing in the end.
After taking a year off, and realizing that painting might not be that lucrative of a career, I decided to go in a computer-oriented, graphic design direction and did a little time...er...I mean "spent" a little time at Platt College where I got a fake Bachelors (read: diploma) in Multimedia Graphic Design. All I'm gonna say is that my time spent in a certain local SD photo lab taught me more about Photoshop than 2 years of private college.
I realised along the way that I much prefer the "tinkering" that can be done in PS versus the actual photography part. I feel extremely lucky that I was able to use Photoshop at least once or twice a day.
Oh, and I love writing and recording original music on my Mac using Logic Pro. I've got 5 guitars, a bass guitar, a harmonica and a vintage lap steel guitar.
Long live Rock and Roll! jefe
