Sepia Tone Techniques

Photographers today have several options when it comes to creating a good sepia tone. There are even Photoshop actions which can be purchased that will convert your images to sepia with the push of a button. I find, however, that it is much more gratifying to apply your own personal method or unique formula for creating sepia tones. The following examples are meant to be a starting point in your own sepia tone creation. Keep in mind that your monitor is probably very different from mine, so these images will look different on your screen. Again, like the black and white techniques, the values that I used in these sepia examples might not work for your image. But that's where the fun comes in, getting your own sepia settings dialed in!
