Photoshop Custom Patterns

Photoshop ships with a handful of defined patterns, and it is easy enough to make your own. We make it one step easier and make them for you! Simply download the pattern file you like and paste it into the specified directory and wallah - patterns galore. Patterns make great backgrounds for greeting cards, birth announcements, advertisements, websites, blogs - you name it.

Get crazy and use different styles/blend modes like color overlay or softlight to change it up and add a little pizazz.

Funny what you can do with custom brushes... never knew you could make a brush out of a building outline and then use that to make crazy background elements. But Jefe knew this, and low and behold you can make brushes that are surprisingly useful out of other things like coffee stains. Got better things to do that make a custom brush out of a coffee stain? That's what we thought, so we did it for you.

Greeting Card Templates

It's never too early, or too late, to get your greeting cards in order. In our seasonal section you'll find updated templates in PSD format all year long. The templates are built with smart objects so all you have to do is drop in your image or images. Double click the smart object thumbnail (it's called "image goes here"), drag a new image onto the smart object, close, save, and the image place holder smart object is instantly updated with your new image. All templates are available in horizontal and vertical formats.

Software Utilities

This is where it all began... as Photographers and Lab people, there were little work flow things that we wanted to accomplish but there was no way to do it. So we found a couple software engineers with some spare time and out came the ePP utilities. To be honest, now a days Bridge has replaced the File Mover App, and one of the other ones is an obscure Lab related utility that while extremely useful, very few people would need it. But the Race Number Utility pictured here is still quite useful and unique if you shoot sports where there is a bib number involved and would like to rename each file with a prefix that is that number. If you have an idea for a simple utility that you think other photographers would be interested in, let us know - we still know those 2 software engineers who on occasion still have a little time on their hands.
