Need help with Photoshop? Stumped trying to figure out layer masks? One on One is here to help you. Using online meeting software we are able to work with you on your computer (or ours) in real time. This is a tremendous way to receive tech support. We are available for a variety of tasks from Adobe Photoshop training to website updates, Express Digital Darkroom training or even FTP server set up.
One on One Pricing
Online training is easy with our One on One Online Tech Support service. We have 4 time lengths available for support:
- 30 minutes - $40
- 60 minutes - $60
- 90 minutes - $90
- 120 minutes - $120
To request a One on One Online Tech Support session, simply fill out the form below and we will contact you to setup a specific appointment time. Once we have done that, we will send you a link to prepay for your session via PayPal, and we will also give you more details on how to join the online meeting. At the scheduled appointment time we will call you via Skype, Yahoo IM or US Phone number (if you have a headset no call is necessary - the meeting will handle it), and the online meeting will begin where we can see/control your computer or you can see/control ours.
How it works
Online meeting technology has been around for a while, and is becoming more and more mainstream. We use a software called GoToMeeting which allows us to create a "meeting" online in which the attendees can all view the same screen... which can be any of the attendees computer screens. What is really cool about this is that any one can also allow another attendee to control their computer. So if you are in an online meeting with someone, not only can you see their screen, if they allow it you can also control their computer with your keyboard and mouse, just like you are working on your own computer. For training purposes, this is a simply amazing tool. Combine online meetings with a headset and microphone if you have it, or a phone call via skype and it is almost as if you are in the same room together.
Frequently asked questions
Is this PC and Mac compatible? Yes - the meeting can be attended by anyone regardless of whether you are using a PC or a Mac. We will try to join the meeting on the same platform as you so that our screens match as close as possible, but this is not guaranteed.
Can my friend join my session? Yes - we encourage you to have a friend join you who needs to learn the same type of stuff. We limit the meetings to a maximum of 4 people though. Any more than that and it gets a little out of hand. There is no increased cost for additional attendees to your session.
Are there any limitations I need to know about? You must have high speed internet, and ideally you should have a fast computer - the faster your computer, the smoother your experience will be. Other than that, it is pretty simple really. Please keep in mind our instructors are highly experienced but do not know everything.
I'm not in the US - can I still do this? Yes - as long as you have skype or a headset with mic, and high speed internet. Keep in mind our time zone is in the US - Pacific. that said we are available for morning and evening sessions.
