In this lesson, you'll use some basic shapes to create a smiley emoticon. You'll then use a photograph, distorted with the Liquify and Spherize filters, as the basis for the glossy surface of the smiley. This technique can be used for all sorts of buttons, icons, emoticons, digital illustrations, etc.
