Proof Colors in Photoshop or Soft Proofing
posted on Thursday, July 30, 2009 :: 2771 Views
This video tutorial goes over the Proof Colors dialog in Photoshop, which allows you to soft proof your images to a given profile so you can see what the image will actually print like. In order to soft proof your images for a given printer, you will need a printer profile made for that printer/paper/inkset. Please only attempt this if you have a good monitor that has been properly calibrated, and you are comfortable with the concept of color management.
